The Camden Cohick's Love of Music Scholarship is a tribute to Camden William Cohick, a South Rowan HS graduate and passionate trombonist. Despite Camden's untimely passing, his love for music lives on through this scholarship. Rooted in the belief that "When words fail, music speaks," we aim to support future musicians, fostering a legacy of hope and resilience.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial aid to South Rowan High School graduates and Western Carolina School of Music students pursuing music majors. We also prioritize mental health awareness and suicide prevention within the music community, recognizing the importance of emotional well-being for aspiring musicians.

OUR VISION

We envision a future where aspiring musicians feel empowered and supported, free from fear and stigma. Through the scholarship, we advocate for mental health awareness, aiming to make music a universal language of healing.
